Another update on the PhotoPress Production affaire

September 5, 2011

You might remember all the hullabaloo concerning the workshops by David X. Tejada that were to be held in Europe in 2010, how they were cancelled and how the producing company, PhotoPress Production, basically ran away with my money and that of other participants. If you don’t, head on to this blog post.

On this front, I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that the PhotoPress Production scammers have gone completely missing, or morphed into PhotoPress Hungary. The original website is gone, even though the domain is stll active, and still registered to this guy (data from WHOIS server, so it is all public):

Lugosi Daniel info@photopress.hu +36.205433320
Vizimolnar u. 20.
Budapest,Hungary,HU H-1031

Either way, I didn’t get the money back and, as of now, I despair of ever getting it. If I were you, I’d stay away from PhotoPress Hungary as well. Unsurprisingly, the domain name’s registrant is the same person.

Now, for the good news, I will only briefly hint at the fact that David’s promise that I mentioned in my first update has finally come to fruition and I am about to attend one of his workshops, for free.

I am going to write another blog post about this workshop, since I want to give it as much publicity as possible, and I don’t want the announcement to be somehow contaminated by the ugly story that came before or my reciminations. Stay tuned for an update soon.

Update: The post, with links to the workshop’s website is now live here.
