Revisiting the Ligthtroom Rapid Editing System

Revisiting the Ligthtroom Rapid Editing System

A few days ago, I reviewed here Viktor Elizarov’s Rapid Editing System for Adobe Lightroom, having used it to process an image of mine. I have to admit I gave Viktor’s presets a hard time, using an image that was quite overexposed to start with.

Having seen my review, Viktor kindly offered to reprocess my image and here are the results. I have to say that having some experience with the toolkit makes quite a bit of difference and his output is much better than what I could get from my clumsy attempts.

Each of the images below is captioned with the name of the preset that it is based on and with the formula used to obtain the final result. Refer to Viktor’s explanation to make sense of the numbers.

I think my favorite of the set is Point Lobos. What is yours?
